T-shirt Competition

Ōwhiro Bay T-shirts are great! There have been some cool designs over the years that look good, let you show your connection to where you live and the sense of community you have.

The One Learning Community is running a competition to select a design for the new Ōwhiro Bay t-shirt!

The winner will have their design printed and made available for everyone to purchase, as well as getting a prize and the bragging rights of knowing your design is being worn by others.

The Competition

We are looking for your original artwork celebrating what Ōwhiro Bay means to you.

The design criteria

  • Single colour (black) - multiple colours makes for expensive t-shirts

  • Size - the design needs to work on t-shirt sizes ranging from pre-school to large adult.
    So fit it within 300mm high by 200mm wide

  • Needs to include the text Ōwhiro Bay

Entries close 5pm Friday July 25th.
The winner will be selected by a panel of judges chaired by Whaea Cilla.

Age group prizes will be awarded as follows;

  • Under 5 years

  • Years 1 - 3

  • Years 4 - 6

  • Open (to anyone in the community)

The overall winner will have their design printed on t-shirts which will be sold and distributed by the One Learning Community.

Physical entries may be submitted to the school office in the morning during term time, digital entries to be submitted here.

The Winner will be announced mid August with t-shirts for sale from September - with a sneak peak at the famous Quiz night.

All designs submitted may be used by Parentlink for promotional material or further fundraising.
